Our management fee is quoted on an annual basis but calculated and charged monthly. Each month, we determine the fee based on the average balance of your accounts during that period. Fees are deducted from your account a few days after month-end.
ModernAdvisor management fees may be tax-deductible. For non-registered, taxable accounts, management fees generally qualify as tax-deductible expenses. If you work with a financial planner who charges separate service fees, those fees will appear as a distinct line item on your statements. These planning fees are not related to managing the investments in your account and are typically not tax-deductible.
