When deposits are invested
We keep your deposits in cash until your account balance reaches the minimum investment threshold for your portfolio option:
$1,000 for Core and Socially Responsible portfolios, and High-Interest Savings Accounts (HISAs) held at CI Investment Services
$2,500 for BCV Actively Managed portfolios
$5,000 for Harmony Portfolios (active and passive blended)
No minimum for HISAs held at Aviso Financial
Once your account balance meets the applicable threshold, we’ll start investing new deposits on the next business day (subject to the cash balance rule above). Large amounts may be invested over up to 5 trading days.
